Mabuhay Bicolandia!!!

We explored last April 5-8, 2007 the province of Bicolandia(Camarines Sur (Pili & Naga) and Legaspi (Albay, Daraga, Camalig & Sto. Domingo)) where the majestic and nearly perfect cone "Mt. Mayon" and the beautiful Cagsawa Ruins are located.

I, together with my cousin Thina and her friend Arlene had a great time, learning experiences, exciting and breath-taking discovery in the Bicol Region.

Our first destination is Camarines Sur where we visited the newly constructed CWC (Camsur Watersports Complex). We did enjoy the water kneeboarding sport together with some local and foreign tourists. The place is really for individual who loves water sports adventure and excitement

















On our second day, we traveled going to the Caramoan Island where strong waves are very prominent.

On our third day to Camarines Sur, we visited the Nuestra Senora Penafrancia and Basilica. Then, in the afternoon we traveled for 2 hours going to Legaspi. Then, we went to Bacacay Beach Resort (Albay) along Sto. Domingo where volcanic black sand can be experienced.

On the following day, we explored Legaspi to visit Mt. Mayon, Cagsawa Ruins and Hoyop-hoyopan Cave. Then, we tried the sumptuous (truly hot chili) bicol express and laing of Bicolanos.
