Boracay and Guimaras Adventures

We had a great adventure in Guimaras, Iloilo and Boracay, Malay, Aklan last June 24-27, 2006.





June 24 (Saturday), 2006
7:30 AM – Check-in time (Domestic Airport, Manila)
8:30 AM – Departure from Manila
9:30 AM – Arrival to Iloilo City
10:00 AM –going to SM Iloilo City
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM – at SM Iloilo City (groceries) and lunch (@ Ted's Lapaz Batchoy with puto)
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – going to Guimaras Island
Then, 2:00 PM until the next day (June 25, Sunday) around 10:30 AM – in Guimaras (stayed in the resort to enjoy the beautiful sand and beach -- Raymen Beach Resort, Alubihod, Nueva Valencia - White sand and crystal clear water; ideal for swimming and sunbathing)
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Island Hopping for 2 hours - visited Turtle Island, Baras Cave Island, etc. and of course swimming.
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - dinner @ Raymen Beach Resort & Restaurant

June 25 (Sunday), 2006
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM - brunch @ Raymen Beach Resort & Restaurant
10:30 AM – 12:00 AM – traveled from Guimaras to Iloilo City
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – traveled (via van) from Iloilo City to Caticlan
5:00 PM – 5:30 – traveled (boat) from Caticlan to Boracay Island
5:30 PM – check-in @ La Carmela de Boracay - overnight stay (8:00 PM - swimming in their pool & 9:00 PM - dinner)





June 26 (Monday), 2006
8:00 AM - 10:15 AM - breakfast, then walked bare foot in the powdery-like white sand from station 2 to station 1 and vice versa & bought souvenir items.
10:30 AM - check-in @ Boracay Regency
11:30 AM - enjoying Parasailing (a truly exciting & breathtaking experience) with Verna, Isa and Thina.
1:00 PM - swimming @ crystal clear water of Boracay
3:30 PM - walked bare foot in the powdery-like white sand from station 2 to station 1 and vice versa (picture taking @ the Grotto) and bought souvenir items.
7:00 PM - sumptuous buffet dinner @ Boracay Regency (forgot the diet first :) hahahaha)
8:30 PM- 10:00 PM - swimming @ Boracay Regency pool

Then, overnight stay until 7:00 AM of June 27, 2006 (Tuesday) – 2 nights (June 25 and 26, 2006 (Sun & Mon)) in Boracay Island

June 27 (Tuesday), 2006
6:00 AM to 6:45 AM - sumptuous buffet breakfast @ Boracay Regency
7:00 AM to 7:30 AM – traveled (boat) from Boracay Island to Caticlan.
7:00 AM to 9:00 AM – traveled (bus) from Caticlan to Kalibo, Aklan
9:00 AM to 10 AM – check-in time
10:15 AM to 11:05 AM – traveled from Kalibo, Aklan to Manila
12:30 PM – onwards - house, then went to the gym to lose pounds I gained in my trip :) hehehehe :)
